Buscalan (Philippines #7)

One reason to visit Buscalan with the amazin Apo Whang Od was to get to know village life in the Kalinga Mountains. It is an interesting blend of old and new. The architecture of peaky roof and houses on stilts remained, but the top is now made from robust metal. There is a somewhat nice shine to houses from afar. Piglets and chicken still run through the houses and complement the infrastructure. And for the youth they basketball yard is the main attraction, as bball really is da thang in the Philippines...
