Diana and Instax sitting in a treeflare...

I got a wild hair today when I got home and decided to try something different.

So, I stuck my Diana F+ minus the back, my Polaroid PIC-300 with Fuji Instax film pack installed into my changing bag.

I then put the Diana's lens out of one of the arm holes so I had access to the shutter and settings. I did a quick metering for the Instax film and the aperture for the Diana, then opened PIC-300, took out the film pack and held it against the camera back and snapped a shot.

I then put it back into the PIC-300, put it's flash and top up through the other arm hole so the lens would get no exposure when I fired off a shot, and let er rip. Out popped a photo.

The other two I did ended up in failure. One I accidentally underexposed because I hit the shutter speed speed without realizing it, and one just came out mostly black anyway.

But I got one. And it was not awful.

That thing in the shot is the Diana's strap, which I had cut short and tied a knot in. Oops. Still, it ended up making an interesting shot and interesting experiment.

I think next pack of film I'm going to remove the film from the pack and slip the film into the body and then squeeze the chemical packets myself to see what happens.

I just realized why the other 2 shots came out black/dark... I had accidentally changed it from Sunny to Pinhole! DUH. Well, that was a fun $3 USD lesson.

Thank you @schugger :D I do like to experiment and play to see what I can do with cameras that they weren't meant to do.
