    Saying goodbye to my companion for the last 7 years. Last week I said goodbye to my dog, Maya - my companion and a lady. Maya was 14 years of age, a respectable age for a dog. The last year was not an easy one for her, getting old and all the difficulties and discomforts coming with it.
