    LomoPeople Malaysia: Mohd Ariff

He has the passion that's hard to find in many people. A little bit older than me, still single and available (if he's not hiding about his relationship status from me). Friendly enough with friends, enemies and strangers. Little bit funny, but sometimes friends don't get it. Always dizzy when he has long distance road trips. And at this time, he can be proud of himself for holding a 'lomoamigo' title.

    How's Life in Paradise?

Since I arrived in French Polynesia in July 2009, perhaps it's the most frequent question I heard from my family, friends, and people I left in Europe. How do I answer this question precisely and honestly? I will try to do this now...

    Souqs- Magic Labyrinth of Marrakech

Souq means "market". They occupy quite a big part of the Medina (old town) and may be a bit problematic to navigate, even if you posses a good map. Street names are a rare thing to see in Marrakech in general, and here just forget it, you just go with the flow.

    More London Square

One of the most entertaining and panoramic squares of London. It is one of my favorite places in London. Not only because it only takes me 30 minutes to walk here, but because it's new, futuristic, contemporary, facing Tower Bridge and just next to City Hall.

Kasbah district in Marrakech, a place which seemed to have resisted change that comes with time. However, the main reason why we went to this area was the Hammam. It was my birthday so I decided a visit to a spa would be nice.

Across the Causeway - Downtown Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Johor Bahru - a city located in the southern part of Malaysia. Based on population size, it should be Malaysia's second largest city. I already mentioned Johor Bahru in my previous article, now, what does this city that is just across the water from Singapore have to offer?

    Mellah - Jewish Marrakech

Catch the ghosts of the past on the streets of this former Jewish district of Marrakech. Mellah used to be Jewish, but not anymore. A lot has changed since the 16th century, the area is Muslim now, and all the Jewish people have moved to Casablanca, Israel or somewhere else. According to the reports, only 250 of them are left.
