Last night, my lomohome was the LHOTD. It came so unexpectedly as I completely lost hope about it. I honestly had zero expectation. Will enjoy the piggies when they come and I hope they won't expire overnight like the 5 piggies I won recently on the barbecue rumble. Yes, they expired sooner than me waking up from a restful sleep. I'll still count them as a blessing as well as the flood of congratulations and people starting to follow me. Must be like Warhol's prediction of 15 minutes of fame. I thank you all from the very bottom of my heart. But honestly it doesn't mean much to me anymore. I guess the 3+ years of my lomo journey has made me value what I find to be most essential about this beautiful addiction - to shoot lomographs because I love to share to the world the wonder I see whenever I click the shutter (even if others may not find them likable or worthy of feedback).
To express my feeling of ambivalence, I'm sharing these crazy self-portraits with Christmas lights doubled with street vignettes. Life is really full of surprises which I hope I'll have enough film and camera to capture them. Keep shooting lomo!
