Zeiss Ikon Tenax I, from circa 1952

I got lucky at an estate sale in South Pasadena and scored an excellent+ Tenax I with a clean case for US$30. Shutter was very sticky, and got it CLA'ed by Camera Max for US$45. Now works perfectly!

great find! I have the post world war II version of this camera called Taxona. I've used it on my last redscale album.

to be exactly, the Taxona was made after the split of Germany, when the Zeiss factory of Jena fall under the soviet control and they had to change the name of the camera becouse of the Zeiss copyright, my camera must be one of the first model becouse it still had the Zeiss Ikon logo stamped on the rear!

This is a neat one. I have a test roll going in one now. The advance lever makes me nervous, I don't want to beat on this thing but mine feels a little stiff in the advance so I don't want to break it....hoping for some cool results though, square images right?

@clickiemcpete Just make it does not have hard grease in works. I had mine CLA'ed it works very smoothly. 24x24 frame ~48-50 shots per roll.
