Your Ghost

Found yet another roll of film I'd started then forgotten about, and again had images of Cockenzie Power Station (East Lothian, Scotland...that's Edinburgh skyline just behind), on the day the chimneys were demolished (26th Sept 2015). It was quite an overcast day, so this isn't the best image I've ever taken, but was just saying, a few days ago, how I quite miss having that building there as a focus for photos etc, so was lovely to see it again! This was taken just a few minutes before the demolition. I was using (expired) colour film, but have made B&W. Canon A2 with Rite Aid 200 ISO 35mm film (expired). Processed at home with Tetenal C-41 kit.

Wow ! I like the frame and atmosphere. A sadness nostalgia of all these people waiting.

Thank you kindly @cedricpola ! Without knowing all these people were gathered to watch the demolition ( there were thousands, apparently!) it seems quite surreal or something to see them all on the beach, staring out to sea, waiting
