Not at all associated with the far-rightist Ku Klux Klan in the US. But the white KKK in the red flag in Philippine history refers to the secret revolutionary organization Kataastaasang Kagalanggalangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan o simply called Katipunan that fought the Spanish colonial masters with the hope of liberating the motherland and giving birth to a Filipino nation. As a tribute to commemorating the 113th Philippine Indenpendence Day last 12th June 2011, I made these lomographs of the analogue prophecy with the fervor of the revolution as a motif. I believe that in an analogue future revolution against and freedom from the canons of conventional photography will be much celebrated. Lomo on!
