Going down

Trying again to get some decent diving shots in BW with LC-Wide inside the Krab. Shot with Fomapan 400 exposed at 200 iso and processed in D76 for 6'30

    Wonderful album!! When I was in the USN at Point Mugu about 1970, the divers shot any photos they needed with a Nikonos UW camera on Tri-X and the photo shop developed them with a Versamat machine, probably in D76 at standard time and temp. They had an UW light meter or they guessed exposure and generally the photos were pretty good. Try Tri-X, it's VERY panchromatic with extra sensitivity toward red and blue.

    Thanks @herbert-4! I also have a Nikonos, and for underwater shooting it's far better than the LC-Wide+Krab, but unfortunately the camera doesn't work anymore. Shutter is stucked and advance lever is blocked, and I don't have any chance to get it repaired here. So I'll have to wait to be back in Europe in 1 month to get it repaired, but then I won't have the possibility anymore to dive in the polynesian waters... arrggh :(
