Bypass (India #27)

A few years back I was priviliged to do some cool reports in India. Among others we filmed with the former doctor of Mother Theresa Dr.Shetty who is now revolutionizing Health Care. With his Narayana Healt Clinics he provides a cheaper heart surgery through job sharing and raising the sheer amount of surgeries. We got to know Mr.Nagendra, who was a farmer from the north, who went down to Bangalore for a bypass, because he had a farmes health insurance. Quite a special moment to be there in surgery theatre. The film was very expired, so contrasts are little, but still it was a grand moment...
