Lomography CN 100: A Quality, Reasonably-Priced Everyday Film

In New Zealand, we are blessed with a special sort of light. More often than not, you need to choose a slower film, even on cloudier days, to cope with the glare and make sure you get good even photos. Lomography CN100 is a good, sensibly-costed solution for good, even contrast and color.

Indonesia - Scuba Diving Heaven and Island Paradise

Hoga is a beautiful, tiny island in Indonesia. There are about 30 local families living in a small fishing village and a community of Operation Wallacea students doing marine research. I was lucky enough to spend a week diving and snorkeling there in the summer of 2009.

    Omis - My Little Getaway

When i see the sea my eyes get brighter. I love it. I absolutely adore it. The smell, the wind, the sun.. everything about it puts me in the best mood ever. But there are some places I enjoy more than other. And thanks to my father I've seen quite a lot of seaside towns in Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro by now. Still, some of them managed to stay in my heart while some others couldn't. Omis is one of those which i will remember with smile on my face.

Lounge on the Farm, Merton Farm, Canterbury

Lounge on the Farm is a local music festival on Merton Farm in Canterbury which caters to all ages. Held every July, we were able to enjoy good weather the last two years (although maybe it was too hot in 2010?!) The festival is all about good up-and-coming acts, comedy, and film with many stages hosting different types of music with the largest crowd gathering in the cow shed. It’s a family friendly, all ages’ festival with something for everyone.

Secondly, I saw a completely different view of this hill. That's the main reason of why I am sharing this location once again to everybody right here!

My Autumn Story: Trading Autumn for Summer

I don't like autumn that much. There, I said it. I love the colors, of course I do, but I don't like this part of the year. It's a sad season: the school starts, summer ends, and with it come all those carefree days. I don't like it, it's like even nature is mourning with all the green turning to brown and dark red. That's why I always try to go somewhere else when autumn starts.
