At the Royal Courts of Justice, London

These were taken using Velvia colour slide film that was cross-processed, but the lab did such a poor job of scanning them that they looked really fake and unrealistic, like something you'd get with an Instagram effect, so I completely desaturated them in Photoshop (i.e. made them greyscale) to at least bring back some of the detail. It was a local lab that I suspect has not done many x-pro scans before. If I ever get a scanner myself I may try to do a better job and republish them in colour the way they were intended to be.
The original lab-scan version is here: goo.gl/PnXWM

I'm glad you found a way to salvage your shots. They're very nice.

If you want to send them to me, I dont mind having a go at re-scanning them. Warning - I am a bit of a scanning newbie and not that good at it.

@kneehigh85: Thanks for your generous likes and kind offer! But I guess I'll just write this roll off as a lesson learned, i.e. never to cross-process Velvia again...!

Don't write it off! Cross processed Velvia does look amazing most of the time. Just give it another go!
