Mamiya C220: An Analogue Giant
written by mattcharnock on 2009-08-29 #gearIf my house was on fire and I had to save one thing (other than my wife and child, as they do slightly trump everything) then I am about 99% sure it would be my Millennium Falcon from when I was a kid. If I could save two things then the second would be my Mamiya C220.

Scotch Super Chrome 100 - Repeating History
written by wil6ka on 2013-04-29 #gearThe history of film production must be as confusing and incestuous as the web of royal relationships of the European kingdoms in the 17th century up to the 19th. Back in the days, a German noble becomes the Russian Czaress, French lords became kings of Spain, and even the Danish were ruling all of Scandinavia. A marriage here, a war elsewhere, a coup d'etat everywhere - such a mess. Nothing was like it seemed and you could never trust what you were told. And with the Scotch Super Chrome 100 it’s history repeating itself.

Place de la Concorde, Paris
written by neja on 2011-12-22 #placesNot only a place of memory, but also an open-air circus. At 8 hectares (20 acres), the octagonal Place de la Concorde is the largest square in Paris. It is situated between the Tuileries and the Champs-Elysées. What is now a place for taking pictures with the Eiffel Tower on the horizon, as well as a reforming place for all sorts of street artists, is actually a place of great heritage.
