My Childhood in Analogue from 1994 to 1997

Lomographer for a Day: My Dad, the Portrait Master

I lent my Holga 135 loaded with Dm Paradies 200 film to my dad and turned him into "Lomographer for a Day," or as it happened with my dad, for two short hours. Take a look what he's done!

    My Departed Dad

My dad introduced me to photography when I was young in the best way possible: with a disposable camera. His advice was brief, warning me of covering the lens with a finger. I got a bit older and worked my way through a Canon AF-7 SureShot (which I still enjoy using) to his old Praktica MTL5, when I began a photography course at school.

    Tribute to My Father

A man who at the age of 64 looks like he's in his 50's, rides a motorcycle everyday to work, and rocks the karaoke like no one else, is definitely worthy of a tribute.

    Being a Lomo Dad!

The event that changed my life the most was when I became a dad for the first time. Loving and bringing up that little part of yourself that make you smile a thousand times, and why not, making him the perfect partner for any adventure, even the analog one.

    My Father

It's Father's Day again. Around this time I'd usually be stressing about what present to bring and moaning at my younger brother for trying to claim some of the hard work I put into my present... but this year is different. This year I focused less on what to give and more on who I was giving it to.

Dad and I: A Trip Down Memory Lane with Daddy Dearest

Like many people, digitizing all of the old family photos is going in very slow stages for me, so I just went digging through all the photos from when I was little that I had scanned, and loved taking a walk down memory lane with a specific theme in mind: daddy and his daughter.

Long before I got into the community here at Lomography. I had been given my Dad's old Lubitel 2 that he purchased on a trip to Russia many many years ago. It wasn't until I got online here that I began to use it however.
