    Shoot Now, Eat Later

In our parents day film and developing were so expensive that to take a photo of a meal was almost unheard of. These days you pretty much can't go to a restaurant without seeing someone taking a photo of their meal or drink. Here are my categories for food photography, see if you agree with me!

The crate of bottles have such history behind them and one befitting to the restaurant! There was yet another record breaker involved. Intrigued? Read on after the jump!

This Calls for a Celebration: The Armview

The Armview restaurant and Lounge is located in Halifax, in the Canadian provence of Nova Scotia. The Armview has seen a great number of celebrations in it's day, and this year it topped it off with celebrating it's 60th year, a great feat for any restaurant! It is also one of my favourites for celebrating a special occasion or just catching up with friends over a milkshake.

    Auckland Eateries: An Introduction

Being an Aucklander for 20 years, I have to admit I'm rather biased when it comes to praising what Auckland has to offer. I've travelled to many places around the world but there is nothing quite like returning home after an exotic trip and induldging in the many amazing eateries in Auckland.

The Dock Kitchen: An Amazing Fusion of Food and Design in London

The place where you can eat and marvel at the exquisite design jewels. I was always a big fan of Tom Dixon's designs. You might think you don't know who he is, but you have definitely seen his iconic lamps everywhere - those reflective balls in bronze and silver. So after I've done some "Googling", I discovered that there is a restaurant above his shop as well. I just had to check it out.

Student-friendly prices, nice décor, friendly and attentive staff are just some of the things I noticed about this newly-opened Cartel Express food outlet in my neighborhood. It used to be that if you wanted to have a meal at Cafe Cartel in Singapore, you would have to head over to Siglap estate, where Cafe Cartel first started its operations. But now, the cafe has established several outlets across this tiny island. One of them, Cartel Express, which is located in my neighborhood, Toa Payoh.
