Here is a Lomolocation and review of an excellent, new, Mediterranean style barbecue restaurant in Cordon's Market in La Crescenta, near Los Angeles, California. Also, in the same market, is a Mexican and Salvadorean take out counter, also excellent.

    The Stevie G. Hotel

Why Stevie G.? Maybe you already know why, because the owner loves this club which is based in Liverpool, Merseyside. So he named it after the current captain of the squad, Steven Gerrard also known as "Stevie G". This hotel is located on the highlands of Bandung so there's a bit of a mountain chill there. It's also very unique because it has 24 rooms and each room features unique interiors. Now let's begin the tour.

    The Wapping Project

One of the best galleries in London, for real. My love affair with this gallery started through a lucky accident. I was flat hunting at that time when I saw a poster of a Guy Bourdin exhibition on the wall of some old building, which appeared to be a former Hydraulic Power Station, now the home of The Wapping Project Gallery.

    Zen Zen Sushi & Teriyaki

Central Point: a city not traveled to by anyone other than those needing to fill up the gas tank and grab a bite to eat; a place to stop when you've spotted the "no rest area for 38 miles" sign and you've absolutely gotta use the bathroom. Drive down it's lowly streets, it's abandoned and gloomy atmosphere, and it's 1 road "downtown" area and you most likely will pass by my place of employment without even noticing it, a little gem and one of Central Point's newest restaurants that you'll surely regret not spotting!

Peters' Drive-In: the Drive In You Can't Drive By

The TransCanada Highway runs from coast to coast of one of the largest countries in the world. It crosses vast barren landscapes, it climbs rugged mountain passes, it bisects small towns, and it navigates large cities. In Calgary, Alberta, for almost 50 years it has conveyed traffic that slows to a crawl to pass Peters' Drive-In, "The Drive-In You Can't Drive By".

In our parents day film and developing were so expensive that to take a photo of a meal was almost unheard of. These days you pretty much can't go to a restaurant without seeing someone taking a photo of their meal or drink. Here are my categories for food photography, see if you agree with me!

Le Saut du Loup restaurant, Paris

One of the most spectacularly located restaurants in the entire world. It was our last few hours in Paris, and we were desperate to dine somewhere around the Louvre. But it had to be a place which served Pomerol wine, there were no doubts about that. I didn't know why, but my partners did insist on that.

Landet - The Cool Bar and Restaurant outside of the City.

Landet is where I was with my friends from Sweden and from Australia. In red light we looked at people, drank beer and saw a alternative rock duo, boy on guitar, girl on drums. We smuggled sake into the place and had to buy our drinks one floor down because of the lack of credit card terminals on the top floor.

Great wines and oysters in the darkest part of Paris. We were recommended to go to Wepler by some Parisian gallerist that I know. She assured me it was the best place for fish. Queues at the door upon our arrival suggested a gem, and that couldn't have been farther from the truth.

The place where you can eat and marvel at the exquisite design jewels. I was always a big fan of Tom Dixon's designs. You might think you don't know who he is, but you have definitely seen his iconic lamps everywhere - those reflective balls in bronze and silver. So after I've done some "Googling", I discovered that there is a restaurant above his shop as well. I just had to check it out.

    Bellini's Italian Restaurant

Bellini's is an authentic Italian ristorante in the middle of busy Cubao, Quezon City. It has become an institution in the Marikina Shoe Expo area (which is now known as Cubao eXpo) since it opened in 1999. It has been one of my favorite restaurants not only because of the perfectly romantic ambiance but mainly because they offer authentic and great Italian food which is sometimes served by Mr. Bellini himself!
