Loch Ness Cruises

Just across the road from the dubiously named "Clansmen Hotel" is the tourist port, from which you can board a 1 or 2 hour Loch Ness pleasure cruise (dog friendly, reasonably cheap and has some exceptional views of the Loch)..... I couldn't recommend this enough. Unless you get sea sick (of course), but even then it's certainly a unique way of getting to Urquhart Castle (although this is also reachable via road links).
