Sweet, reliable, boring Tessar... The standard lens of so many vintage European cameras. And its many cheap copies... imitations... let's call them "variants". Here are two – an East German Jena Tessar and a Soviet Industar. (Even if I pick a camera at random, I often wind up with a Tessar-type lens.)

    @tomsenjo Yes, the 1E, with the horizontal stripes on the front plate. (And yes, the Tessar is a fine lens – it's just not "interesting" in that weird way I prefer...)
