There's not a lot of control when using an instant camera. Since I picked up the Sanremo, this is the first time I've actually tried to use the very limited settings to get something other than a straight exposure. The subject was a dark blue shipping container, under some trees, in deep shadow. Just to the left, a bright open sky and a white stucco house. I wanted a darker sky , but the house to still be seen as white. I didn't do too much, just stopping down one stop. I would have liked a bit more detail in the shipping container, but there's only so much one can do without the option of making changes while printing.
