spitfire corner

an attempt by double exposure to make the spitfire 'fly' . An unremarkable photo but what's weird is that i swear i can see a pilot in the cockpit , he's looking directly at the camera !

@neufotomacher yeah or Johnnie Johnson or Robert Stanford tuck. My particular hero was Pat Pattle who flew in north Africa and Greece in gloster gladiators and later hurricanes, sadly didn't survive the war(

Yes, Johnnie Johnson or Stanford Tuck. Did author Roald Dahl fly in Gladiators in that same theater?

@neufotomacher yes he did and he also managed to squeeze his 6'5" frame into a spitfire!

I don't think even a Thunderbolt would fit my girth, but dang 6' 5" in a Spitfire, probably had his feet connected to the flaps instead of working paddles, Heh-heh.
