   @docsavage I talked to a neighbor and he said that sign marks where a culvert is - they use this dead end road to go out onto the lake in winter. I will also assume that goes along with the history that Lake Michigan just came out of a very low water cycle and it's probably that the sign really was on land - or on the edge of the water 10 years ago. I had seen docks that went out 50 feet without hitting the water so maybe.
