Stillwater Ice Castles double exposed with Creeping Charlie, January 2017. I traveled to Stillwater Minnesota to see the ice castle that was constructed this month. The castle was right next to the river, making the sky very grey and foggy. It was tough to get high-contrast images of the ice formations, which is a shame because they are a beautiful blue color in real life. Extra shot of downtown Stillwater and the lift-bridge across the river.
