Instant Karma Reunion Concert

Instant Karma is a rock band that was formed in the Eighties in Huntsville, Alabama. On December 28, 2013 that had a reunion concert in Huntsville, Alabama.

The neon on this one was a little too much for the rest of the image.

This is from a roll of film that I have been experimenting with. It was exposed three times in three different cameras. The first exposure is of Christmas lights that I sometimes use as a night light. The second exposure is of neon signs at various locations in North Alabama. The final exposure is of the band Instant Karma. (The earlier exposures were made in June and July 2013.)

The photographs of Instant Karma were made using a Lomography Sprocket Rocket (with a Vivitar 283 flash, except for one bulb exposure). The first time the film was exposed with with an Olympus Pen EES-2 half-frame camera (set manually) for the Christmas lights. The neon signs were shot with a Nikon FM-2 and a zoom telephoto lens.

All of the shots have exposures from at least two Alabama counties. Some have exposures made in three counties and at least one has exposures from four counties.
