Messing around at Gardner's Falls, just below Shelburne Falls on the Deerfield River. I was a little disgusted with this roll because most of it was really dull and lifeless. If someone knowswhether it's the chemicals at the one hour lab or if it's my scanner settings or whatever it is let me know...I hate it when you scan xpro slide film and it goes all olive green and doesn't pop with color.

Again I really dig your shadow on the rocks. But yeah, I've not a fan of green and will keep on playing with the histogram and color levels until I get something I like. Sometimes I think it looks okay until I scan the next strip and get something I like more. It can be very frustrating and time consuming. But with each roll I'm figuring out more features of the scanner.

I don't know if it's the scan or not but it wouldn't hurt to try it again. I've had some very different results when I scan the film vs. having the lab do it.

@trw, yeah, I scanned these myself and about half of these were fine and half of them were the dull gray/olive green ones which I tried to correct with the scanner settings but really cannot seem to recover them how they should be. I believe this particular image was one that did "pop" like they should.

why don't you try correcting the green by adding a slight tone of red with de software of your scan? I've done this with one of my album and that worked perfectly.

Pete, this happens to me to. I noticed it happens when the sun is REALY HARSH and in front of the camera. My latest EBX album for example, the shots where the sun is in front of the lens are unflattering green. The sun was way up in the sky then facing me. But the shots that are vibrant and have popping colors, the sun was behind me.
