The Spirit of Detroit

A Monday afternoon trip to Detroit's Belle Isle and Downtown. I've been trying to get my husband to go with me into Detroit to keep a look out so I could focus on Photographing (not shooting) some of the Great Sights. We started on Belle Isle and where sadden by state of things, the fountain wasn't even running, and other sights where over grown. The City of Detroit just doesn't have the money for upkeep. At The Spirit of Detroit someone watching a surveillance camera told me over a loud speaker to get off the grass. This is the first roll of Lomography Redscale I've shot, I guess I didn't quite have enough light to shoot 100 ISO with Diana. But I was very surprise by what the scanner was able to pick up.

We’re fizzing with excitement to introduce our latest Kickstarter project: the Lomo’Instant Square. We’re talking about the world’s first analogue camera to produce square-format Instax pictures. It features a 95mm glass lens for super sharp photos, an advanced automatic mode that takes care of exposure, all of Lomography’s signature creative features — and a compact, foldable design. The Lomo’Instant Square has launched on Kickstarter. Come join the fun and back us on Kickstarter now to save up to 35% on the planned retail price, and scoop all sorts of extra treats. Be sure to snatch up the deals before they run out. Be there and be square!
