Sun Thrift Store

Here's a trip to the Sun Thrift Store, a charity shop in support of the Catalyst Foundation for AIDS Awareness and Care. As far as I know, this is one of the largest charity shops in Los Angeles. You can shop here for anything. Just remember that they don't wash anything, so this place defines funky. Prices are are randomly very low, and lots of old cameras find their way to Sun Thrift shelves. Enjoy.

We’re fizzing with excitement to introduce our latest Kickstarter project: the Lomo’Instant Square. We’re talking about the world’s first analogue camera to produce square-format Instax pictures. It features a 95mm glass lens for super sharp photos, an advanced automatic mode that takes care of exposure, all of Lomography’s signature creative features — and a compact, foldable design. The Lomo’Instant Square has launched on Kickstarter. Come join the fun and back us on Kickstarter now to save up to 35% on the planned retail price, and scoop all sorts of extra treats. Be sure to snatch up the deals before they run out. Be there and be square!

we don't have anything similar here (for charity) except for two store where people bring theyr stuff to sell and the shop charge the 50% over the final price, then prices fall by 25% and 50% in subsequent months. I bought many of my cameras at these store, sometimes I was very lucky and I made some real bargains. I defenitevely love these kind of places! and a very kind album! :)
