I think it is good to challenge a new camera, so I loaded up a roll of Efke Aura infrared film (my personal favorite) and the Hoya R72 deep red filter onto this gem of a camera and went for a drive. The only criticism I have for the camera is the amount of shutter noise. I had to switch to a heavy tripod and hand my camera bag on it to reduce movement, even with the cable release.
