I love vintage postcards. The way they were usually printed, they appeared to look more paintings than photographs. Handwritten old letters are also equally fascinating especially in cursive or joined-up style as opposed to imitating print letters. The photos in this set are all fusion of old unrelated postcards and letters with the final texture of street vignettes taken on our way to Jaen, Nueva Ecija for the outreach program for flood survivors. Shooting triples is taking the risk of possibly overexposing the shots (especially when one of the cameras has a fixed ASA setting). But my worst fears were gone when I saw the results that transported me somewhere in the remote past when people were still authentically communicating with each other.
