On a fine Sunday afternoon, I went to the Mall of Asia and was amazed seeing a huge Christmas tree at the south building entrance. It's not the typical tree adorned with the usual suspects like silver bells, reindeer, stars and Santa Claus. What's so fascinating about this tree was its decors that were easily identifiable as Filipino folk art. The creative use of indigenous materials for the crafts and the fiesta motif for the entire tree were remarkable and worthy of praise. Experimented on these shots with sprocket holes.
