The Capelin Are Rolling!!! Just Before Canada Day!
A yearly event in Newfoundland ... a very Canadian thing! Always happens right around Canada Day! Wading through the rough waves feeling the pummel on the outside of your boots - or your feet if you can brave the cold. There are so many Capelin that you can scoop up handfuls with your bare hands. A classic Canadian Canada Day.
I brought them home for dinner to feed the brood! My 3 year old ate 8 of them!
