Best of both views combined
The high rise financial buildings reflecting upon the waters of the Marina Bay, and the newly built Marina Bay Sands casino hotel, are the top night views in Singapore since the completion of the casino last year. I have seen many digital shots of these views that are of postcard worthy material, but seeing too much of them makes me bored to shoot them the same way. I had a Holga with me that night, and I thought, why not capture the best of both views in one single frame and see how it turns out? At least that won't be so boring and it'll be a first.
I had to use the bulb mode, but I didn't have a tripod with me. I had to support my Holga against a railing and try my best to hold it steady. This blurry shot is a better one I captured that night which makes sense out of a place. If you have also gotten sick of the predictable landscape shots on digital, analogue can challenge your creativity.
