My boyfriend gave me my very first and only lomo cam, a Diana F+, for my birthday. I was very eager to try it out! Being the impatient person that I am, I did not bother to read the manual. I only looked up two things: 1) How to load the film and 2) How to use the shutter release. I got hold of some film, loaded a roll into my camera, and went out to take some pictures. I felt so confident about my shots. Processing time came and TADA! All the pictures came out grainy and gray.
This was a picture of my labrador. I was expecting his color to come out nicely. I was wrong.
Lesson learned. Read. Read. Read. (Coupled together with experimentation of course)
