Robin Bell, a master printer, is one of Britain’s most respected black and white darkroom printers. His work is featured in an upcoming 30-minute documentary called The Silver Footprint. Directed by Richard Dunkley. The trailer was released recently.
He has printed for renowned photographers such as Terry O’Neill, David Bailey, Linda McCartney, John Swannell, Terence Donovan (who was quoted saying that Robin Bell is the only man to trust your negatives to), Eve Arnold, Gered Mankowitz, and many others.
Also a fine art and a travel photographer, Robin Bell has published work for a lot of UK broadsheets, Fashion magazines, and photography magazines such as The Times & Sunday Times, The Observer, Vanity Fair, Professional Photography, New York Sunday Times, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Marie Claire, and GQ to name a few.
