Agfa RSX (120, 50 iso) user-review

Not to be confused with the successor RSX II but since this was discontinued years ago, it may be a little hard to find now and with some luck you may find a few if you’re patient enough! The best place to start hunting for this is probably from eBay.

The batch I got expired in 2000, so you could say now it’s maturing into a real vintage! So, if you’re lucky you may see some surprise colour shifts! However, you can still count on warm colours, a sharp finish and a touch of grain, which adds that crunchy retro feel.

Cross processing this film yields lovely, very deep blues, while reds shift slightly towards orange or brown and greens turn olive. Now doesn’t that just make you want to slip on your bell-bottoms, grow an afro and load up your camera?
