As you may or may not know, for a while now, Lady Gaga has been holding the position of creative director at Polaroid. It is therefore not unfitting, that for a photo shoot on Vogue Hommes Japan she’d be shot on instant film.

The recently leaked photos, as you might have expected, are not tame. She’s tied up in full bondage furore – at times even naked – but let’s face it, it could have been much worse. There are more depraved things out there and at the end of the day, Vogue is a fashion, not a fetish magazine.

The shots were taken by the very prolific Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki who has worked with, amongst others, Icelandic singer Björk. His work is often erotic if not pornographic in nature and not completely appropriate for the prude or those who are shocked easily. In comparison to his works currently on exhibition at Jablonka Galerie in Köln, the images of Gaga for Vogue Hommes Japan are tame. So to speak. But see for yourself:
