Blast in the Past with Memory Lane

During the Long Hari Raya and Independence Day Holiday, I was busy trailblazing the city of Ipoh for food and pictures, specifically on Memory Lane, a weekend flea market using my new lomo camera, the La Sardina with the Fritz the Blitz Flash!

The highlight of my week-long holiday at Ipoh City is finally being able to visit the weekend flea market. Located at Jalan Horley and stretching towards Jalan Lim Bo Seng, it is indeed easily accessible by public transport and private vehicles alike.

The flea market itself operates from 6:30am to 12:30pm every Sunday but prepare to face huge crowds and the hot tropical sun if you decide to come late. From antique items to secondhand electrical equipment, used books or magazines, cutlery, TV, radio, clothes, shoes, coins, watches, old music records, occasionally old or used lomo cameras, traditional medicinal drugs, and pets alongside stalls for food and drinks to keep yourself energized throughout the journey. It practically has anything and everything conveniently located under one roof just keep a sharp eye so you don’t miss out on anything. It’s the perfect place to practice your haggling skills with sellers too.
