With school starting for many of our young Lomographers we decided to celebrate the coming of the new semester with a back to school themed Blue Hour!
There were plenty of PB&J sandwiches to go around last week and even more beer to wash them down with! While the younger crowd may be groaning about the return of fall the older bunch was able to remember the days of bagged lunches and school buses fondly. Summer may be slowly fading away, but no matter what the season we will be here each week at Blue Hour to celebrate something!
Don’t forget to come each week at 6PM to relax and have a drink on Lomography!
Lomography Soho celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Diana F+ with a special, sparkly photo booth complete with groovy cocktails and lots of 70's sparkle. We documented the day with the Diana F+ with the Instant back and a prototype of the Lomo'Instant Square.
First of all, I really appreciate being able to join the TEN AND ONE Residency Week in Vienna along with super cool Lomographers! We could never have any forgettable memories. The members are 11 people from 10 countries. I thought it'd be difficult to communicate with each other because of our different cultures, languages, personalities, etc. But we didn't have any worries. We respected each other, above all we are Lomographers!
Upon the release of their new album "Twentytwo in Blue", new LomoAmigos and NYC-based indie rock band Sunflower Bean stopped by our Lomography NYC store for an exclusive photoshoot with Mitchell Wojcik. Check out the photos and interview here!
I have come back after a week of my TEN AND ONE Artistic Residency at Lomography HQ in Vienna with my head full of ideas and projects that I would like to start and try out. By the end of the week I have a book (almost) full of tips, anecdotes and pure Lomographic love.
The TEN AND ONE Residency Week has been very intense and full of activities. From 11 to 18 November, we did LomoWalks around Vienna, guided visits to museums and magazine editorial office, a workshop, a trip to Bratislava, worked on our LomoWall and of course LomoLunch and LomoDinner. We had the opportunity to attend a Cyanotype Workshop at Lomography Head Quarter held by Michael Wuermer, a young and nice photographer and printer.
We are proud do introduce our new LomoAmigo Band Lucius and even more excited to share some exclusive Lomo-shots of the band's Spotify Live-recording at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York City.
Join us at the Soho Store this month for our February workshops and events. There will be a rainbow themed Diana F+ workshop, a screening of We Have Rather Been Invaded by Ed Webb-Ingall and a new exhibition by photographers Geoff Brokate & Kaye Martindale.
Love is in the air here at Lomography and in lieu of our 25th anniversary, what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day by going back to the 101 and the Lomo basics? Here’s how Lomographers captured retro love, in the soulful beat of the 90’s.
Valentine's Day is over but love celebrations are just about to start! Lomography teamed up with Greater Skies and we want to see the most iconic place of your love story. Great prizes await the winners.
