A good friend of mine told me about the London Fixed Gear and Single Speed Bicycle Tweed run that was going to take place. The culture of fixed gear or single speed bikes has been growing fast in London over the last few years. I really wanted to shoot this and was thinking about taking my digital, portable flash and so on. Then i decided I wanted to take part as well and couldn’t face carrying my big SLR and flashes.

With the ever-present risk of grey weather in London B&W 400 speed film is always a safe bet. The Rollei produces great tones and contrast and can definitely handle a little over or underexposing. I rated the film at 200 and fount that the film, camera and event fitted together perfectly! Hope you like…
