In El Tubo, the excellent Zaragoza tapas zone, you will find El Limpia Bar. Make sure to not miss out on the house tapa special, the Papapico.
The Papapico is the star tapas plate. The base of the dish is a baked potato with Soria spices seasoned with a spicy mojo sauce, and is best washed down with a good beer.
El Tubo, the Zaragoza tapas zone, is where you will find El Limpia Bar, a charming, different, and special place. On 4th of August Street, no. 17, Zaragoza, awaits Emilio. With his infinite patience and and his hoarse voice, he’ll tell you all the house specials that his brother Nacho prepares. Mushroom risotto, chicken skewers with vegetables,Galician-style pork, spicy empanadas (you need to try this), Papapico…and endless exquisite foods.
It is a family business that began as a shoe shine service 3 generations ago. This is a service that is still maintained during weekday mornings.
I only see one fault though, they don’t have my favorite beer. ;)
