Re-cap of Blue Hour Summer Movie Sessions: William Eggleston in the Real World at the Lomography Gallery Store LA

Summer is winding down, but the Lomography Gallery Store LA isn’t! Our Blue Hour! Summer Movie Sessions continues and so does the fun here in Los Angeles.

During our Blue Hour! Summer Movie Sessions, we screened the documentary “William Eggleston in the Real World” in order to prepare LAmographers for the Street Photography Workshop with the LC-A+. This film sure brought in a diverse crowd! Local neighbors, documentary enthusiasts, and seasoned and new Lomographers all came to get some inspiration from one of the figures who transformed photography in the 20th century, William Eggleston.

Watching interviews of Eggleston as well as a glimpse into his creative process really got the crown interested. An LC-A+ armed with a Fritz the Blitz flash was floating around for everyone to try. See the results bellow!
