A mysterious lady wearing a long black satin dress dancing elegantly in the ballroom, and you could barely take your eyes off her—-she’s Lomography Lady Grey, my fair lady!
This is the exact impression that Lomography Lady Grey 400 gave me.
Lady Grey is capable of producing images with very fine grains as smooth as satin, and its image quality is comparable to other black and white films of lower speed which are famous for their fine grains, such as Agfa Silvertone. Actually, what impressed me most is the black color that it brings—just like wearing a black satin dress dancing in the ballroom, reflecting the radiance from the chandelier and let you see clearly every little detail of this elegant dress in black. What’s more, she’s good at presenting the real texture of the subjects as if you could feel it when seeing the photo. Its capability of producing sharp images with high contrast makes it super eye-catching among its competitors!
With its high speed (ISO 400), you don’t have to worry about having blurred images while taking photos in low light conditions—-Lady Grey used to capture faces and nice scenery around her with her sharp eyes!
Though Lady Grey is ultimately elegant and classy, she’s very easy going in nature. She goes well with my LC-A+ and La Sardina, and I’m sure she would have the chance to play with and therefore, become close friends with my Horizon, LC-Wide and other Lomo Plastic Friends in the near future!
