RECAP: Adventures In Pinhole Lomography Workshop @ Lomography Gallery Store NYC Gramercy

2011-08-24

The pinhole technique has been used for ages by scientists and artists alike. During this workshop a group of Lomographers learned this amazing technique with the help of the Diana F+.

Pinhole or camera obscura is a lens less projection and has been around for centuries, even before cameras and film. The day began with a brief history of the technique and then we loaded our Dianas and went to the streets! 3-10 second exposures with 400 speed film seems to be the magical formula for our sunny Sunday afternoon, but we will keep our fingers crossed! Pinhole photography requires a little trial and error and a lot of patience, but the reward is amazing. Check out a few of our shots from Madison Square Park!
