Scanning Quick Tip

Recycling to make your scanning with the Digitaliza 35mm scanning mask go by just a little faster so you can get out and shoot more film.

Having your own scanner is awesome for several reasons like complete control and well it makes things cheaper. One down side is that while you are scanning you are not shooting.

One day I came up with a very easy solution to always get my negatives lined up and straight on the scanning bed. By placing an old floppy disk against the side of my scanner and the Digitaliza I created a template, making the lining up effortless and speeding up my scanning process.

What you need:
• Epson Perfection v500 photo scanner (it’s what I have though it probably works the same on other scanners but I haven’t tried)
• An old floppy disk, which we also use as coasters

Voila quicker scanning so you can get back out there.
