On Saturday July 16th, Toronto Lomography Gallery Store staff and an eager group of people gathered at the TIFF Bell Lightbox to take in the Fellini exhibit and explore paparazzi photography with the Diana F+.
It’s always a pleasure for the Toronto Lomography Gallery Store staff to get out of the store, explore the city and spread the Lomo love to new people and places. Running the Diana Dialogues at the TIFF Lightbox was a great opportunity for us and for those who attended. And of course, The Fellini: Spectacular Obsessions exhibit is a must see for all lovers of film and photography.
After running through the basics of the camera, and being inspired by Fellini’s beautiful work, we headed out onto the streets of Toronto to snap some photos and try out everything the Diana F+ Camera has to offer.
Did you know the word paparazzi came about because of Fellini? In his film La Dolce Vita, the character who is a news photographer was named Paparazzo!
Nothing beats trying your hand at a little paparazzi style street photography on a sunny summer’s day! Check out some of the photos from the workshop below!
