Multiple Exposure Rumble

57

Whether you’re a newbie to multi-exposing or an aficionado this rumble gives you carte blanche to show us the fruit of your experimentation! But, this time we don’t want to see your doubles taken with the LCA, Diana, or your Smena. Instead, try to experiment a bit and show us some combinations! A little bit of Supersampling in your Fisheyes, a bit of Oktomat in your Pop9s, the crazier the combination the better! Remember Golden Rule #10? There are NO Rules!

No we know that some of you may never of done doubles in such a way before. Don’t worry, thats why we are keeping this rumble up for the next 3 weeks, plenty of time for you to go out and try your craziest combination too date!

At the end of this rumble we will choose the 3 craziest Lomographers out there and award them with 10 piggies each! Keep it wild, but not too wild. Only your best 10 shoots may enter!

just in case you have not noticed already, with the newest update of beta you can flip through albums by clicking on the right side to go to the next picture and on the left side to go back to the previous picture, no need to move the mouse to find the small buttons in the bottom right corner anymore

    Question:
Can I upload multiple exposures that were done with an (Holga) and an (Holga+fisheye) ?
It's still the same camera, but mixing fisheye and square shots...
To be or not to be ?

What about doubles that we took with a partner (for example one lomographer with Pop9, another with LCA)? Can we upload those and will both lomographers be rewarded then? Or do we have to decide who uploads which shots on their own account?

  33. dralous

I'm in!!!! This series of submitted images are in-camera double exposures on one frame, but taken with two different cameras. The first layer (wide shots and landscapes) were shot on a Holga 135 BC, then rewound and loaded into a Colorsplash lomographic camera. Having previously established a sync frame, I then shot a second pass of detailed objects but splashed the layer with different colors. Since I shot on Fuji Velvia, a slide film, I decided to cross process, shifting the color balance. Et Voila....straight out of camera. Let me know what you think :)

  46. lakandula

The set I submitted combined shots taken using frogeye and fisheye 2 with ringflash and Lomo XPro Slide. I recently visited an urban poor community of Baseco in Manila.

If a picture paints a thousand words, then perhaps if I have two I'll get a thousand more.
My intention here is to frame in my films a collage of interconnected and contrasting images - the harsh realities of everyday life in the urban poor jungle of Baseco and representations of society's often myopic and upside-down views of this social malady (hence, inverted images).
Hope I succeeded in this artistic and political endeavor.

Estonian Intersections of Sight and Sound

Would you rather lose your vision or your hearing? As photographers, we might choose the latter without a second thought, especially while viewing the festival photos that photographer Mart Vares captured with the New Petzval 85 Lens. Still, who doesn’t love the pleasant mechanical shutter sound of an old SLR that makes us commit to analog photography? While following the Nordic delegation at this years Waves Central Europe, we caught up with the Estonian band, Würffel, whose songs leave us feeling equally delighted.
