Lomography LA changed the tone a little bit for this past week’s Blue Hour Summer Movie Series by screening the documentary “Annie Leibovitz: Life Through a Lens.” Our local LAmographers were in for a treat as they discovered a bit more about the life of this living legend.
This past Blue Hour totally reflected the tone of the movie! A few of our regulars stopped by to watch Annie Leibovitz: Life Through a Lens, a documentary about the photographer that can turn Rock N’ Roll into art with just one click of her shutter. It was funny to see all our attendees so enraptured by the film that they barely even touched their snacks!
Needless to say, the life of Annie Lebovitz is truly an inspiration. She started out just like our regular LAmographers. Taking photos for fun and not really considering it as a career. Who knows, the next Living Legend of photography could have been in our very own Gallery Store that night!
The La Sardina was floating around snapping a shot or two throughout the night. Our attendees were all fishing for a try. And with that super-wide-angle lens, who could resist? Enjoy the photos snapped by our visitors, and don’t forget to come to our weekly Blue Hour!!
