In the name of all things POP-tastic we launched the very bright and very neon Sprocket Rocket SUPERPOP!
We thought we’d use this opportunity to step in and help you all out this festival season. We thought either you’d be missing the muddy fields of Glastonbury already or this years wages just wouldn’t stretch far enough to pay for those gold dust festival tickets…so here at Lomography Soho we held our very first festival – SuperPop!
There was ice cold cider, neon face paint (a little too much for some people) there were giant flowers, a fairy lit gazebo and even muddy wellies.
James Hersey from Vienna (home of Lomography don’t you know!!) opened the evening and played us a very cute and very intimate acoustic set, before jetting off to his other UK shows. Then our Dj Mr Something Else kept our feet tapping and our hips moving until the early hours of the morning (well until we closed at 10pm)
a very lucky lady was the winner of a brand new, neon green, SuperPop Sprocket Rocket camera – everyone who had been popping in all week collecting their brightly coloured festival wristbands, all got the chance to enter the free raffle..unfortunately only one person could win, and very happy she was at that.
Enjoy this summers festival, rain or shine. And if not…we are always here!
