Kraków is hands down one of my top favourite places that we’ve visited, the atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious, the beer was great (and cheap) and it was the perfect place to take my little Holga for a few photos.
First a little background: Kraków is one of the oldest cities in Poland and at one point, was the capital city of the country. With such a long history, the city is rich in architecture, cultural identities and amazing food and drinks.
Kraków’s historic center, which includes the Old Town, Kazimierz and the Wawel Castle is beautiful and during our time there we explored all the places and here are some of my photos taken with my Holga. It was the perfect camera to use as it has captured the weather, the atmosphere, the colours within the city and also the amazing architecture and unexpected features that were around the city.
Aside from being a beautiful city, we also had some amazing day trips to the local Salt Mines and Aushwitz (though I didn’t take my Holga there) so if you are thinking of visiting Poland, I highly recommend Kraków as a destination to go for.
