A little overcast and a bit of sprinkle wasn’t going to stop Lomographers from attending the first ever San Francisco meet-up at Dolores Park on May 28th!
The sun finally came out from hiding once we settled on a grassy hill; Lomographers and friends chatted, shot and played our own custom Dolores Park Bingo. As our very first chance to meet the very passionate San Francisco analogue community, we welcomed the opportunity to give details on the upcoming Gallery Store and introduce ourselves.
Handing out Diana’s and film to shoot with, we got to better know the individuals that make up the exciting Bay Area analogue scene. Our group was diverse, with a mix of long time Lomographers, professional photographers and even some first-time analog shooters. Once the cameras were loaded, everyone was free to roam the park and play some point and shoot bingo! Custom-made for this first event, we handed out bingo cards with common Dolores Park sights, such as small dogs, drum circles, bikes, beer and even tightrope walkers!
Overall, it was a great first event. Thanks to all those who made it out! Feel free to post your Dolores Park Bingo photos so we can see how they turned out. Did you get everything?
