This past Sunday we celebrated the LC-A+’s Birthday with a very special workshop!
We celebrated our old friend the LC-A+ with a few cupcakes and a workshop all about this amazing little camera. The LC-A+ has now turned 27 (though she looks at least 10 years younger in our opinion) and she hasn’t lost a bit of her charm. The LC-A+ is an amazing device that has become the staple for Lomographers everywhere.
Our workshop attendees learned all about the LC-A+’s capabilities including a built-in light meter and ability to make beautiful double exposures. After learning the history of the camera and how it became the star of Lomography the group was ready to head to Madison Square Park and get some hands on training. It was a lovely afternoon and everyone left full of sugar and LC-A+ knowledge!
We had an epic Film Photography Day celebration this year at the Lomography Gallery Store NYC. Our friends at Sacred Tattoo NYC were kind enough to transform the gallery into a tattoo shop so Lomographers could show their analog pride forever and ever with a free camera tattoo!
This month we celebrate Film Photography Day with a special in-store party to launch the Lomo'Instant Automat Glass Lens! There will also be a Diana F+ Pinhole workshop to celebrate World Pinhole Day and a chance to test out the La Sardina camera too!
In celebration of the reformulated LomoChrome Purple film, Lomography Gallery Store Soho recently hosted a new exhibition of analogue photographs taken by artist Adam Popli. It was an ongoing series of work shot on the (original formula) Lomochrome Purple film.
Lomography recently collaborated with Tokyobikes and ACE Hotels for their East London bike tour. We lent each participant an LC-A+ and LC-Wide for the journey and our shop manager Lee went along for the ride.
We recently released the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 lens for regular purchase and decided to throw a huge party to celebrate. We also launched a new exhibition showcasing photographers from around the world who shot with this beautiful, soft focused lens.
Early sunsets, the air is finally cooler and the leaves will change colors soon -- fall is upon us! Lomography Gallery Store NYC, located in the heart of Greenwich Village, kicks off the month of October with a series of exciting workshop and events. Come join us!
